HOW LONG HAVE IMPLANTS BEEN DONE AND WHAT IS THEIR SUCCESS RATE?

The original Swedish system of implants has been used to replace missing teeth for over 50 years. Dr. Kepic has been placing implants for more than 25 years with a success rate of over 98%. Dr. Kepic will guarantee the implant fixture for as long as he is in practice. For the less than 2% of implants having problems, he has replaced them all successfully at no additional charge. (Please ask your restorative dentist for his policy regarding the prosthetic crown.)

HOW WILL I BENEFIT FROM DENTAL IMPLANTS?

Implants look and feel like natural teeth. They prevent bone loss and gum recession that accompanies bridgework and dentures. Implants are more “teeth saving” than bridgework because they do no rely on neighboring teeth for support. Your natural teeth are left untouched. Implants allow you to speak and eat with comfort and confidence.

HOW DO I GET STARTED?

Please call the office to schedule a consultation with the doctor. The visit will take about thirty minutes. Bring your spouse or a close friend if you would like. We want to know your desires and expectations. Dr. Kepic and his experienced staff will meet and exceed your expectations. After the first visit, you will be scheduled to begin the work-up phase that includes impressions and so on. Dr. Kepic will ask if you have been referred from a restorative dentist or he can suggest a restorative dentist who has the expertise needed to place the prosthetic teeth on the implants.

HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?

The cost varies based on the complexity and extent of the necessary treatment. Comparing the long- term success of implants versus conventional (outdated?) bridges and dentures, implants make more financial sense. There are three separate costs. These include laboratory costs, the implant placement fee (Dr. Kepic), and the prosthetic tooth replacement fee (the restorative dentist). Ask us for ways to help finance your treatment.
